Every year, erosion and sea level rise are claiming about two meters of shoreline along the Chesapeake Bay on the East Coast of the United States. There have been many efforts to control the loss of land over the years, with mixed results. Now, a new approach for restoration called "living shores" has scientists hopeful. Producer Zulima Palacio visited one of the experimental restoration projects and has the story. Carol Pearson narrates.
