Alright so 2 of the most common mistakes when doing pec flys is not controlling the weight, and not fully extending your arms. So to prevent this, first make sure to adjust the bench so that your arms are in line with the middle of your chest, then when you bring your arms back, bend at your elbows to reduce the involvement of your biceps, and when you press forward, straighten them out to fully shorten your pecs. Additionally, try incorporating a slight pause at both the start and the end of the movement to control the change in direction and avoid using momentum.
