Ratanpur is situated 25 km away from Bilaspur city. In Ratanpur there are several Devi temples located including Devi Mahamaya Temple, Laxmi Devi temple etc. Mahamaya Devi temple was built by the King of Kalinga Raja Ratan Dev in 1050A.D. when the capital transferred from Tuma to Ratanpur.
