The Lok Sabha passed the maternity leave. The bill on maternity leave from 12 weeks to 26 weeks provides. Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said the bill introduced in the lower house. The Maternity Benefit Bill 2016 has been passed by the Rajya Sabha last year. These bills working in the organised sector, benefit the nearly 18 million women.
