We performed a side-by-side test of the stock Dash-Board bench and the stock Festool MFT/3, using the same piece of wood and the same hand plane, evaluating their rigidity under the same stresses. This also includes a comparison of how well their clamp tracks allow you to secure a part to the side of each bench.
