Pentecost is a day of renewal, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the unity of the Church. According to the Book of Acts, on this day, the apostles and followers were gathered when a sound like a violent wind came from heaven. Tongues of fire rested on each of them, and they were filled with the Holy Spirit, enabling them to speak in other languages. This miraculous event attracted people from various nations, each hearing their own language. Peter explained that this event was foretold by the prophet Joel, and about three thousand people accepted the faith and were baptized that day.
