STORYLINE:
"Batman Unmasked", an immersive pop-up set to be the UK’s most comprehensive Batman showcase ever, will open to fans Friday.
The London event celebrates Batman Day on September 16, Warner Bros' 100th year anniversary, and also 15 years from the release of Christopher Nolan's acclaimed sequel "The Dark Knight."
The pop-up will feature costumes, props and vehicles spanning the Caped Crusader’s legendary cinematic history.
Fans can compare and contrast the Batsuits from Michael Keaton’s "Batman" (1989), Christian Bale’s "The Dark Knight" (2008) and Robert Pattinson’s "The Batman" (2022), as well as admiring Ben Affleck's "Justice League" costume and two batcycles.
The showcase also contains costumes worn by the Caped Crusader's deadliest foe - the Joker, as interpreted by Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix in "The Dark Knight" (2008) and "Joker" (2019) respectively.
Fans can also pose for photographs in a makeshift Batcave and scaling a wall in Gotham City.
The pop-up at 180 Picaddily will be open from 15-17 September.
