In mega news coming in from LIC's IPO (Initial Public Offering), a press conference is scheduled today. This comes as the first press conference where the management will address the attendees about the IPO since the details were first announced earlier this year. The IPO will be open for subscription from May 4th to May 9th, that is the upcoming week. The price band for the IPO is Rs. 902 to Rs. 949 per equity share. The reporters are coming in for the briefing as they are set to start. In an off-record conversation, the management sounds confident with their lowered prices and defence.
