S (Brighton Shuttle): Prospect Park to/from Coney Island, Brooklyn
Because of Track and Signal Upgrades, Q trains were not running between Atlantic Avenue – Barclays Center and Prospect Park
Q trains were rerouted in Brooklyn
Q trains ran in two sections (every 12 minutes days/evenings):
1. Between 96th Street and Coney Island, making some stops on the D and N lines (see below), skipping DeKalb Avenue southbound
2. Shuttle train between Prospect Park and Coney Island
In Brooklyn:
- Q trains from Manhattan only stop at Atlantic Avenue – Barclays Center*, 36th Street, 59th Street, and Coney Island on the N line.
- Q trains to Manhattan only stop at Coney Island, Bay Parkway, 62nd Street, 9th Avenue, 36th Street, and Atlantic Avenue – Barclays Center* on the D line, then run on the R line to Canal Street.
- Free shuttle buses stop at Atlantic Avenue – Barclays Center, 7th Avenue, and Prospect Park.
- Transfer between Q trains and free shuttle buses at Atlantic Avenue – Barclays Center and/or Prospect Park.
- Transfer between Q to/from Manhattan and Q shuttle at Coney Island.
For DeKalb Avenue, take the R via transfer at Canal Street or Atlantic Avenue – Barclays Center.
*Note: All Q trains at Atlantic Avenue – Barclays Center board from the D, N platform.
