Amy from @Chroniclesofrosieres emailed me way back in the spring inviting us to come and stay at Chateau de Rosieres e Viverais if we ever happened to pass by. As it was a 14 hour drive for home I didn't think we would have the opportunity but the kore I thought about it the more I wanted to go. Of course I chose the most inopportune time to visit, 3 weeks after she had given birth and a week before Christmas! But Amy assured me it would be fine, I think she is very used to having a lot of people around!
We stayed for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. Of course we were not really thinking about getting jobs there, that was just a bit of fun and an excuse to try out the farm equipment!
Please do follow Amy and Marcs adventures, they have a huge project on their hands and have so many plans for the future of the chateau and the grounds.
