Massive semi-carved vishnu statue made of single stone transported from thiruvanamalai to Sri Kothandaramaswamy temple in Ejipura, Bangalore, Karnataka.
It is 300tonne and is 64 ft height & 26 ft width. It took 7-8 months to get transported using a 260 tyre trailer. Another pieces of rock which weighing around 260 tonnes, from which Seven headed snake, Adishesha will be carved.
It will take 2-3 more years to complete it. After which it's total height will be 108 ft.
It all began with a doctor’s dream. B Sadanand, the main trustee of the temple, had long harboured the desire to carve a statue for the shrine that is unlike any in the world.
