Though originally all mouse were connected to a computer by a cable, some modern mouse are cordless, relying on short-range radio communication with the connected system.

In addition to moving a cursor, computer mouse have one or more buttons to allow operations such as selection of a menu item on a display. Mouse often also feature other elements, such as touch surfaces and scroll wheels, which enable additional control and dimensional input.

Many times left side button stop working because of carbon or dust another reason is that its life is over as it is more busy as compare to right side button.

Repair process is very simple, either replace that switch or clear the carbon, dust over it.
