Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Timken replacement bearing and race set. This is gonna be a high quality LM67048 tapered roller bearing, and an LM67010 race that will replace an outer bearing and race for the two hub model numbers that you see on the screen there. So, if you have either one of those hubs and you're needing to replace that outer bearing and race, this is gonna be exactly what you need. This does use the industry standard numbers. They are printed, so for our bearing, you can see it right here.

Got that LM67, sorry, trying to get that so my light's not shining too bright on it. You can see that LM67048 printed on that inner portion or cone, and then for our race here, we've got the LM67010 printed there. So, if you see either one of those numbers on your current bearing and race, you'll know that that will be an easy switch out for you. This is also gonna be equivalent to the Dexter part number that you see on the screen there. So, if you see that Dexter number anywhere, you can trust this is gonna work for you, but if you don't see any of those numbers the only other way to ensure that it's gonna work right is to measure.

So, for our bearing we're gonna measure that inner diameter there and it is very precise. It goes down to a thousandth of an inch. So, you do wanna make sure that you are using digital calipers that will go down to that thousandth of an inch. So, as you can see here with mine, we're looking at inner diameter of 1.250. And for our race, we'll measure the outer diameter there.

That's gonna be sitting at 2.328. Now, if you're not familiar, Timken is one of the most well known and highly trusted brands in the industry because their products are engineered with higher quality controls, which is gonna ensure tighter tolerances and run outs than other manufacturers. That's gonna help reduce any vibrations and noise and lead to a longer bearing life as long as they are properly installed. That higher quality is also evident in the way they package their products. So, these do come individually packaged and oiled so that they're gonna arrive to you in a great condition, ready to be installed on your application.
