Maurice Bendrien (DOB 19APR 1999, 6'0ft@168lbs) has been the starting catcher for the Untouchables Paderborn for 2015 and 2016. He will enter the 2017 season as the starting catcher again.
The team plays in the North Division of the highest men's league of Germany. Teams consist of the best german players and Ex MLBI and College D1 players. Pitching velocities in the league range from 82-92mph, league games are only played once a week (double header).
Maurice is part of the Major League Baseball International certified Academy Program, located in Paderborn (GER). Two simulated games per week take place during the regular season (April-September) on top of league play on the weekends.
We believe that Maurice will be a great addition to any US college team. He is a hard working, studious team player and leader with a good skill set, very coachable. Maurice is an average student, and will be available for college in July 2017.
