Hello everyone! This week's video features a couple of CSX fast freights running through downtown Fortville, Indiana, at speeds near 50-55 mph! Fortville is a small railroad town in central Indiana along the ex-Big Four mainline from Cleveland to St. Louis via Indianapolis. Today, the route is owned and operated by CSX, and is known as the Indianapolis Subdivision between Sidney, Ohio, and Indianapolis. This line itself has around 20-30 trains per day, and these two trains came within a matter of ten minutes of each other! Rather exciting for running into this town by chance.
Hope you enjoy the video, and expect another one later this week!
