(4K, 2023) Lufthansa Cityline CRJ 900 (D-ACNJ) startup and takeoff from Runway 16 at Cork, Ireland, operating flight LH985 to Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in June 2023. Skip to the takeoff at timestamp 02:15. There was a lot of condensation on the cabin windows, but this clears for the takeoff. I had long hoped for a Lufthansa connection between Cork and Frankfurt, and it launched during the pandemic. This was my first time trying it out, and also my first time on any kind of CRJ aircraft, so I was very excited at the opportunity! Some great, loud sounds from the tail-mounted engines during startup! I apologise that this video is shakier than my usual flight videos - this is because I was not able to attach the camera to my usual mount due to a missing screw, but I did get a replacement in Frankfurt for my future videos from this trip.
