Welcome to the Mazda Design Driven Series. A sustainability-led challenge where four RMIT Fashion students will compete to create garments inspired by the MX-30, Mazda’s first electric car. In Episode 2, we check in with our contestants to see how they plan to incorporate the MX-30’s sustainable materials in their designs. Video captured by the contestants themselves give us a glimpse into the life of a fashion designer away from university and a deeper insight into their creative process. Plus, our designers are surprised with an upcoming pre-runway – a chance to submit their work for critique before the final showcase.
