Nature's artistic touch is evident in the still waters of every mountain lake.
Ehrwald is a small town located in the Austrian Alps and is a popular starting point for many hikes.
We started our hike in Ehrwald and followed the Immensteig trail which is known to be a moderate level trail.
The trail goes through fields of wildflowers, a river and dense forests.
After a 2-3 hours of hiking, we finally arrived at Seebensee Lake.
Continuing on the trail for an hour, we came across another beautiful mountain lake - Drachensee.
As you can see the water of this lake is an amazing mix of blue and green.
on the way back, we took a trail named Hoher Gang which turned out to be challenging.
It involves steep sections and rocky and slippery patches.
After returning to Ehrwald, we pitched our tent at Dr. Lauth and
the following day, we started a hike to reach the summit of the highest peak in Germany, Zugspitze.
