This B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) dive coaster opened in 2005 and was the first of its kind in the USA thanks to the popularity of Oblivion at Alton Towers in the UK, which opened seven years earlier. It was converted to a floorless coaster in 2007, following the opening of its sister Dive Coaster Griffon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg that year.
Did you know that the coaster was planned to be 160 feet (49m) tall, but the park's executives rejected this and the height was changed to 200 feet (61m)?
