More than two dozen suspected gang members were killed in Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince, on November 19 as residents and police repelled an attack on the Petion-Ville suburb. Residents, armed with machetes and hammers, barricaded streets to defend against gang invasions. One report says at least 25 bodies were found across Petion-Ville, Delmas, and Canape Vert neighbourhoods.
