In the tragedy of Euripides "Hippolytus", goddess Aphrodite punishes the homonymous hero, because he does not give it any price. The goddess, to avenge him, inspires erotic feelings for him in Phaedra. Phaedra is his wife Theseus, who is the father of Hippolytus. Phaedra is his mother Hippolytus. Because the Hippolytus feels and manifests his horror when this love is revealed by the last feud of Phaedra suicides. But he takes care of incriminating Hippolyte, accusing him in writing that he allegedly tried to seduce her.
