A lot happened during my travels in 2022 with my old 2004 Sienna minivan camper, and I learned some hard lessons along the way.
Here are just a few challenges I faced:
1️⃣ No solar power on the roof — I had no reliable way to charge my devices or power my setup.
2️⃣ Very little food storage — I had a small fridge, but without a charging system, it wasn’t practical.
3️⃣ No thorough mechanical inspection — I didn’t do a proper check before buying the Sienna, which led to unexpected breakdowns.
Fast forward to 2023: I upgraded to a High Roof Ford Transit Connect — and this time, I’m building it right. With the lessons I learned from my Sienna breakdown, I’m making sure my camper van is fully equipped for stealth mode living and ready for anything.
