In this video we look at 14 active construction projects in Liverpool. I've heard people say construction in Liverpool has fallen behind - there's no Liverpool Building Boom, and it's true that there a few too many stalled projects around, but there are quite a few impressive new developments under construction or nearly completedand I visit 14 of them here. There are no doubt more, but I'll look at those in another video.

On my Brompton bike, I cycle from the Baltic Triangle in the south up through the city centre and on to the docklands area in the north.

It's a sometimes crazy journey, visiting an upside down house along the way.

Some streets remind me of the seventies and an old Rolls Royce make me think of the Beatles and Brian Epstein.

The sisters in music I mentioned were: Cilla Black, Lia Metcalfe of the Mysterines, Sonia and Melanie C of the Spice Girls
