Working from an original script by David Quillin, the film is set in Raleigh, North Carolina circa 1997. The feature film is about a gifted but troubled young cellist who shuns the classical musical world to join a rock band.

The film stars Ira David Wood III, Jason Damico, Ira David Wood IV, Raven Angeline Whisnant and newcomer Nadia Jones.

“The Believers” will continue filming through January in Raleigh, Cary and Durham, North Carolina.
