Video Editing Noise Reduction Using Camtasia Young Biz Whiz

Hello everybody, it’s Roman again and today we’re going to do a quick video on cutting out the background noise in a video using Camtasia.

It’s really simple - here is a video of me talking with an air purifier running in the background - you can hear the noise in the background. (run clip of you talking w/ noise in background).

Here are the steps you take to remove the noise.

1 (have #1 come up on your screen with a description) Drag the video clip into Camtasia - see the Media section in the top left of Camtasia? This is where you put your videos to be edited. So you just drag your video into this section… And now you will see your video in the bottom (timeline?), as well.
2. Now on the left nav. You choose the “Audio Effects” option and you will see these boxes come up.
3. Click on the “Noise Removal” option and drag it down to your video on the (timeline?).
4. Now lets run the video again and see how it does at taking out the background noise.

Wow - see, it’s so much better - you can’t hear the background noise, at all.

It’s really that simple.

So that’s how you take the background noise out of your video clips.
