Two people lung the same horse. This horse likes to come in and put his head over the person, this is an intimidation tactic by the horse. This horse has been taught that by doing this the person stops lunging and the horse knows how to get out of lunging. Just like when a horse lies down and the rider gets off, the horse learns to lie down to get the rider off.

Therefore, I try to show that if you make the horse uncomfortable when it comes in, then the horse will not want to come in.

NOTE; This horse is not being bad, mean or wrong, it is doing what it has be taught to do in order to get release. To the horse the Right answer is to come in to stop the human from lunging. No rope hits or knees did any damage to this horse, a rope or human CANNOT kick as hard as another horse. So if any bleeding heart whiner comes here and cries about hurting this horse, YOU will be blocked.

This lesson is making the horse better, it is showing the horse boundaries, it is making the horse safer, and it is being a clear leader to the horse so the horse knows the rules and the rules are clear to the horse.

UPDATE ON THIS HORSE; This horse died in 2013 locked in it's stall standing in urine and feces because the owner lover her and did not want her with other horses - yet the owner visited the horse twice a year while paying others to feed and brush her. So for the cry babies about her being lame, she was happy here to be out of stall and be able to move, not stand in her own shit and breathe fresh air. She was a good horses who was owned, locked up and protected from other horses and NOT protected from her owners.
