[Abstract] Flexible batteries with compelling shape diversity and mobile usability have garnered significant attention as a promising power source for forthcoming wearable electronics. To develop full-fledged flexible batteries with reliable/sustainable
electrochemical performance and mechanical deformability, which lie far beyond those achievable with conventional battery technologies, novel battery materials and architectures should be addressed as essential prerequisite. In this talk,
we’ll present our major research achievements in flexible lithium-ion batteries, with a particular focus on nanotechnology-driven material/architecture innovations.
[Host] Prof. Naotoshi Nakashima
