Here is an extremely rare Edsel wagon. A 9 passenger had 2,133 units made and the 6 passenger had 5,687 units produced. The Edsel models consisted of the low end Ranger, then Corsair, and then the Villager wagons. Hardtop sedans, 4 door sedan, hardtop coupe, 2 door sedans and the convertible are again the Edsel models. Although a lot of people admire the '59 Edsel as being the most attractive, including myself, the sales just didn't take off and the Edsel dropped to 14th place in the industry. The engines for the Edsel were either a 6 cylinder with 223 cid with 145 bhp. and the rest being V8's from 292 cid / 200, 332 / 225, and 361 / 303. The " horse collar " grille Edsel was continued for the 1960 model year with a dressed up and slightly altered full size Ford with different grille and taillights. Ford pulled the plug on the Edsel in November '59. So, the '59 model was the last full year production model. What a delight to see this mostly original Edsel Villager station wagon and hope you enjoy it also. Thanks very much for viewing.
