ingredients list and preparation process:
dry dates 5-6
almonds 15
soak in 1/4 cup warm milk and soak 5hrs
after 5hrs almonds and dates are well soaked.
Now de-seed dates and peel almonds and transfer to blender and blend to smooth paste.
Almond paste is ready it can refrigerated for 4-5days..
Now boil a glass of milk . Now add few strands of saffron(optional).
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder and
1/4 tsp of elachi/cardamom powder and let the milk boil.
After a min add 1tbsp of prepared almond paste and and let the milk boil for 2mins stirring continuously so that almond paste also gets cooked in milk.
After 2-3mins remove from heat and allow to cool for a min and serve hot or refrigerate and serve cold... whichever way you like..
