Investigators with the Henrico County Police Division have identified the man who was hit and killed by a train in Henrico on Sunday, Nov. 24.
On Monday, police announced that they had identified the man at the center of the tragedy as 59-year-old Marcell Morse of Richmond.
“The holidays are for people trying to get together with loved ones, have a good time and enjoy the holidays, not have tragic news and preparing for a funeral,” said Lt. Shawn Kopelove with Henrico Police. “From our understanding and working with our partners at CSX. The arms were already down for the train. Traffic was at a stop.”
