#leavenotrace I found this tent, unused, dumped in my local woods, they had also left a partly burnt a quilt , would of been better wrapping it around them- ??? I cleaned it all up and kept the tent. (I believe that all tents are sacred, no matter what the cost).
I thought it looked like a single skin assault tent and was thinking of taking it on a mountain wild camp, plus only 1300g. I decided to do a wind test first, I was glad I did!
In part 2 I will test it in rain.
Anybody starting out should look at some of the vango technical tents. (NOT this one)!
The vango Cairngorm 200, tempest 200, Helvelyn, Banshee and Mirage series are all good.
The Robens Starlight tents are excellent too
Decathlon, Camp and Ferrino do some good functional low priced tents.
For imports consider the 3F UL Lanshan tents.
But, should it be this one? Have a look what happens in a fresh breeze!
