After his primary eye doctor noticed he had higher-than-normal eye pressure, Lazarus was referred to the USC Roski Eye Institute and consulted with ophthalmologist, Dr. Alena Reznik. The diagnoses was glaucoma, and in order to prevent possible blindness glaucoma treatment would be necessary. Dr. Reznik offered various options to treat his glaucoma, but surgery would be the most affective in order to prevent blindness.
