We’re back in the gorgeous Portuguese capital of Lisbon. Join us as we finally hop on one of the famous Remolado trams that wind and grind their way through the city’s hills. They may be 80 years old, they still faithfully climb up the world’s steepest railways through neighborhoods such as Alfama and Principe Real.
The only route that uses modern, longer trams is the 15E to Algés. This route passes the famous UNESCO Heritage Site Belém, a popular tourist spot. We planned to ride that tram, but we didn’t exactly get what we bargained for…
