Namaste 🙏
I'm delighted to inform you all that Lalit Kala Academy in New Delhi once again hosted the National Art Exhibition this year.Photographs of the artworks of all the artists from across the country were invited by the Lalit Kala Academy, Delhi. The Lalit Kala Academy conducted the 63rd National Art Exhibition this year, which featured the works of 297 artists from all throughout the nation. He also chose a collage-style painting of mine for this national art display. He displaying my artwork in this national art exhibition is a source of tremendous pride for me. I have experimented and worked with a variety of materials, including clay, ink, glue, thread, paper, and magazine cutouts. This is where I combined the line map of Vadodara, which is overlapped with a cartridge sheet. Apart from the two, you can also find threads in my work. These threads represent all the historical buildings that are not present anymore; they also have many sweet memories attached to them, which often makes us nostalgic. In the process, I have scraped the tissue over this thread as a representation of the revival of old memories. But I have also included some actual painted buildings to bring back a sense of our heritage. This year, the art exhibition was inaugurated through pressure sports under the chairmanship of "Prof. V. Nagdas', President of Lalit Kala Akademi. In this inauguration ceremony, famous film actor Mr. Manoj Joshi was present as the chief guest; the special guest was well-known actor, director, and screenwriter Mr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi; and famous artist Mr. Vasudev Kamat was present as the honorable guest. Major newspapers and electronic media in the country took notice of this exhibition. I am sharing with you some glimpses of my collage paintings in this exhibition. I hope you all like it.
