Brand new Nova Craft Prospector 16ft canoe in Aramid Lite. Just picked this beauty up yesterday ahead of a 3 day river trip that I will be doing a video on. I'd been researching canoes for about a year now and this was on a sale that I couldn't turn down. With any luck, this will be the only canoe I will ever have to buy.

This is a very short video I took this morning showing the lines of the canoe. I needed to make sure there were no issues with it before we set off on a proper adventure. The first paddle went really well and I had no problems portaging or paddling this thing solo (which is going to come in handy).

Aramid Lite is a super light material, but with that comes a bit of fragility. I won't be surfing down white water with this, but it will be perfect to explore the back country lakes that scatter Nova Scotia.

Stay tuned for the camping adventure coming up. 3 of us and my dog will be paddling down the Musquodobit river, making camps and enjoying life.
