This video demonstrates ICG travelling from the injection site at the right areola to the lateral side of the breast towards the axilla nodes.
This method can be used instead of blue dye in sentinel lymph node localisation when a dual localisation is required. Evidence suggests that it could also be used as a substitute for technesium 99m as a single method of localisation.
