SUBWAY PROJECT
Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista and Defense Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. lead the groundbreaking for two stations of the Metro Manila Subway project on Monday, February 13, 2023, in Quezon City. Also present during the event were Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff Gen. Andres Centino; Japanese Ambassador Kazuhiko Koshikawa; JICA Chief of Representative Sakamoto Takema; Sumitomo Mitsui C.C.L Project Director Hitoshi Yamaji; Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte; Daisuke Nihei, economic minister of the Embassy of Japan; and Hitoshi Yamaji, managing executive officer of Sumitomo Mitsui C.C.L.
