Today we retrofit the OE heated steering wheel, using all OE parts.
In the video I show the wiring diagram for this retrofit, but instead of running to the fusebox I decided to jumper the power off the cigar light by the ashtray and add an in-line fuse holder. It's been in for a while now and I've had no issues with it running this way, so all is good there.
These wheels warm up fairly quickly, and they don't get too hot either, just enough to take the cold off the wheel and keep you hands warm, especially if you were to drive with the roof down in colder weather.

I've included the relevant part numbers in the video, the wiring diagram (including wire sizes), and everything you'd need to do this quick modification.
