Shino Aburame is perhaps one of the most underrated characters in the Naruto series, if not the most underrated. Some would argue that if the chunin exams weren't changed before the Sasuke Uchiha vs Gaara fight, that Shino would have been given the rank of chunin and perhaps would have been a jonin during Naruto Shippuden's starting episode.

That's why in today's edition of the wasted potential series we're going to look at just why Shino is so severely underrated by the fandom and should have been better used in the Naruto anime, as well as Boruto the anime.
