Synopsis:
In this series Johnny Kingdom takes us through the enormously varied landscape and wildlife of Exmoor, one of the UK’s most glorious national parks.
Exploring his own back garden, Johnny tracks wildlife through the four seasons. In winter, he follows a herd of deer in search of food amongst the heavy snow and then exploits the stunning night skies to film animals after dark. As colour floods back into the land in Spring, Johnny focuses on the behaviours of boar, while in Summer he takes to the coast to track the birdlife among the cliffs. Lastly, he stalks magestic red deers through Autumn, catching them in the middle of the 'rut'.
Set against beautiful landscape shots and Johnny's personal stories, this programme brings the magic of Exmoor to life.
