Another video showing how to fix a Volvo clutch position sensor and have it future proof if the sensor degrades. As the sensors get older, the resistive track inside them degrades, and once it rises above approximately 3K Ohms, the ECU sees it as failed. This prevents you engaging the cruise control. This fix costs pence, and allows for the parallel resistance to be altered, bringing the sensor back down to within tolerance.
