A new car theft method - CAN Bus injection or Headlight hacking. In modern cars, 20 to 200 control units manage various systems, communicating through the unencrypted and authentication-lacking CAN bus. Using a CAN injection device, they send false messages like 'Key is valid, unlock immobiliser' and 'Key is valid, unlock doors,' allowing them to effortlessly open and start the car without causing damage and in a remarkably short time.
