On December 26, 2020, the greater wrestling community was shocked and saddened by the death of Jon Huber, known professionally in WWE as Luke Harper, and everywhere else as Brodie Lee, at the age of 41. Fans mourned the loss of a uniquely unorthodox performer, one with seemingly plenty more to offer the viewing world, but friends and peers came to recall an even better person beneath his portrayals. With each ensuing tribute, it became more readily apparent that the man who had recently lorded over AEW as one of its top villains was as good of a friend, brother, husband, and father as one could remember.
