There are many commercially available products containing various coniferous plant extracts, like for example HB-101 growth stimulator. To prepare a home-made stimulator, tightly pack a one-liter jar with any type of conifer needles and cover with vodka. To enhance the effect, you can add a bunch of bracken fern leaves. The fern is a valuable source of beneficial substances. Tightly close the jar, put it in a dark place and shake it from time to time. The extraction process continues for about one month. You can store this remedy for a very long time, at least a year. To prepare a growth stimulant, dilute 1 tablespoon of the remedy in 10 liters of water and spray your plants. It works especially well for tomatoes, bell peppers, and cucumbers before blooming and for fruit shrubs and fruit trees both during and after bloom. For ornamental trees, this remedy can be used during the whole season.
