Tamarack logs, and Woodland Mills
A quick opinion on Tamarack as wood to be used on a sawmill. I love the grain of the Tamarack it's stains up nicely it's best treated with either Linseed oil or Butcher Block oil. The ability to saw is relatively easy, as it is a soft wood, you just have to watch the bark because it carries a lot of grit.
