Trigeminal neuralgia is a rare, neuropathic facial pain condition, often referred to as the most excruciating pain known to humankind. It is most common in patients over age 50, but the Young Patients Committee of TNA-the Facial Pain Association demonstrates that people start fighting TN at all ages.
