In October 2015, after extensive preparations, the Museum of Military Technology carried out a remarkable operation to recover the German Sd.Kfz. 250 Ausf. Neu armored personnel carrier from the bottom of the Pilica River. Near the carrier, they also discovered the wreck of a Sd.Kfz. 7 artillery tractor, which was also successfully retrieved. Both vehicles belonged to the 25th Panzer Division and became stranded in the Pilica River while attempting to cross near the village of Górki in January 1945.
