The systemic challenges within the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has severely hampered its ability to successfully pursue high profile corruption cases. The South African public have lost faith in law enforcement agencies and drastic, urgent change is needed to ensure that corruption cases are pursued without fear or favour and to restore the public’s faith in the criminal justice system.
