A Dubai Design Week initiative, Global Grad Show is a world-first exhibition of the most innovative projects from 10 of the world's leading design schools.
Curated by Brendan McGetrick, Global Grad Show offers an unprecedented overview of the issues and technologies that will shape the future. Comprised of 50 projects, the exhibition is organised into six categories - Construction, Health, Home, Memory, Play and Work. Representatives from each participating university, including some of the exhibiting designers, will be present at the exhibition, providing direct contact to the future of design and the schools where it is formed.
Libue is a redesigned toilet for Parkinson's patients and their family members that increases the independence of patients, reduces the burden for family members and provides a solution that can be easily integrated in existing homes without additional construction. Libue challenges the conventional design of toilets; it’s easily accessible for patients, while it’s functionality and flexibility also makes use by other family members.
