The KCR-led government in Telanagna is under fire over two separate suicide cases wherein the deceased blamed ruling party leaders of harassment. A mother and son duo killed themselves in Telangana’s Medak district after alleging harassment by the Ramayampet municipal chairman, his followers and the police. Santosh and his mother, Padma, claimed that the police did not take any action on them as they belonged to the ruling TRS government. Meanwhile, a BJP activist, Ganesh, killed himself by consuming pesticide in Telangana’s Khammam district. His family has alleged that the local police had filed false cases against him at the behest of the local MLA and state transport minister, Ajay Kumar.
